What’s the main performance of road anti-crack sealing tape?

Road anti-crack sealing tape is made of asphalt polymer, high tensile cloth base, high temperature resistant and asphalt compatible high strength fabric composite. The product is self-adhesive, convenient construction, direct paste cracks. This structure is the integrated application of several measures to prevent cracks on the road. The main performance is as follows:

• Spacing. By using anti-crack sealing tape, Isolate the cracked surface layer from the asphalt surface layer, avoid the direct contact between cracked surface layer and asphalt surface layer. The tensile stress of base crack cannot be transferred directly to the asphalt concrete surface, although the binding force between the base layer and the surface layer is reduced, the polymer crack resistant paste also make the upper and lower layers stick together into a whole, and jointly bear the action of vehicle load, It’s enough to prevent the relative displacement of the upper and lower layers of the interface and maintain continuity.

• Reinforcement. Anti-crack sealing tape can improve tensile stress of cracks.

• Buffering. Road anti-crack resistant tape is a material with extensibility, good low temperature flexibility high polymer. Laid in asphalt pavement between layers, equivalent to set up an elastic layer, the base crack tensile stress through the crack adhesion polymer extended to a wider range, so as to alleviate the stress intensity of the crack, elastic layer can play a role in absorbing part of the tensile energy.

• Water isolation and seepage prevention. Prevent road water to subgrade penetration, so as to protect the strength of the base.

Noted:  When the adjacent side height difference is greater than 1cm or there are many pits, this part needs to be leveled and then spread anti-crack sealing tape, to prevent the "anti-crack sealing tape" in the depression from being damaged by gravity.
