Product Description
The pothole hot patching mixer is a specialized equipment designed for producing finished materials used in pothole repair. It combines cold patching agents with stone aggregates in precise proportions to generate cold-mix asphalt. This equipment achieves cold oil processing, cold aggregate handling, cold mixing, and cold laying operations without generating smoke, fumes, or dust, serving as an environmentally friendly and energy-efficient new type of machinery.

Application
Pothole repair technology refers to the treatment methods for addressing these road surface defects, encompassing pothole repair materials, equipment, and construction techniques. The process involves the following steps:
1.Cutting and Breaking: A saw cutter is used to trim the edges of the pothole, followed by breaking up damaged pavement with a hydraulic breaker.
2.Excavation and Cleaning: After removing debris, a blowing/suction cleaning machine thoroughly cleans the base. 3.Priming and Sealing: An asphalt sprayer applies emulsified asphalt to the prepared surface, and vertical crack sealing tape is installed around the perimeter.
4.Material Paving: Hot or cold mix asphalt produced by a pothole patching mixer is evenly spread into the cavity. 5.Compaction: A road roller or plate compactor ensures dense and uniform compaction of the mixture.
6.Edge Sealing: Road crack sealing tape or sealant is applied to the repaired edges for waterproofing and durability.
Why we have to do Pothole Repair
Pothole repair technology focuses on maintaining pavement surface defects, effectively prolonging road service life and enhancing driving safety. Potholes are common pavement distresses that severely compromise structural integrity and driving comfort. If left unrepaired, under combined effects of traffic loads and hydrodynamic pressure, the damage may extend to the subgrade, leading to vehicle malfunctions and endangering passenger safety.
